Married at Marianne Williams
Lindsay and Jordan's Intimate Ceremony During COVID-19

I met Lindsay and Jordan last summer when they reached out about wedding photography. I love when I have the opportunity to meet my couples before booking, so we met at Push & Pour and throughout the whole consultation, it was obvious how much they loved and appreciated one another. More than anything, these two just clicked. You know when you have a friend or partner and you just get each other? That's the absolute best and that's Lindsay and Jordan! These two are fun loving, silly individuals, which means they can be their 100% silly selves together. Whether they're running, biking, or backpacking, they're living life in the moment and loving every bit!
Lindsay and Jordan set the date for June 6th, 2020. We wrapped up their engagement session and everything else was running smoothly...and then COVID-19 happened and all the wedding plans needed to change. With their family and friends' safety in mind, they made the very hard decision to postpone the grand wedding until next year. While their wedding celebration will happen June 12th, 2021, they still wanted to get married on their original date. This year they held a small, socially distanced ceremony, tying the knot and showing the world that they're in it together! 💕
Despite having to change their plans, the intimate wedding came together just beautifully. The morning rain even paused for the ceremony and majority of the reception! They held the ceremony at Marianne Williams Park, which turned out to be an awesome choice with its diverse features and gorgeous scenery (it also has various paths, if you're looking for a new spot to run). The guest list was small, filled only with close friends and family, which allowed the day to be flexible and laid back!
Lindsay and Jordan did their best to create an open environment for those guests who were more at risk. All of the events, from the ceremony to the yard games to the dinner, allowed for social distancing. I was particularly impressed with the seating arrangements laid out on rows of picnic benches. They managed to give everyone plenty of space to eat in their respective groups, while doing so in a cute and fun way! Thank you for letting me be a part of your lovely little wedding and trusting me to capture your day!
